DESIGN EXCELLENCE AWARD
This "media rich" theatre was designed and constructed within 15 months to meet the University's schedule. Within a bare shell, the design involved a comprehensive fit-out of the space, from tiered flooring, acoustic ceilings, multi-scene lighting, projection booth, theatre seating and lecturer's console. From the undulating stainless steel ceiling panels to the witty projection booth, meticulous attention to planning and details resulted in the successful integration of numerous technical systems within a visually arresting and user-friendly space.
